Influential post-hardcore band from New Brunswick, NJ, formed in 1997. Vocalist Geoff Rickly led the group to landmark status with Full Collapse (2001), which defined an era of melodic hardcore, and major-label debut War All the Time (2003, Island/Def Jam, #7 Billboard 200). Their story was featured on the cover of Dan Ozzi’s NYT bestselling book Sellout. After a 2011 hiatus, Thursday reunited to massive demand — playing main support for My Chemical Romance in sold-out arenas and headlining their own celebrated reunion tours. Still one of the most beloved and revered names in post-hardcore.
