Post-hardcore band from Rock Hill, SC (based in Seattle), formed in 2001. Signed to Tooth & Nail Records, they’re best known for “Walls” and “Studying Politics” and have released nine studio albums across more than two decades. Vocalists Toby Morrell and Matt Carter co-founded Bad Christian Music in 2013, the independent label and podcast platform through which Emery now operates. Known for raw live energy and a sound that shifts fluidly between pounding post-hardcore and melodic introspection, they remain one of the genre’s most enduring acts.
