West Virginia-born singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based in Nashville. After a nomadic young adulthood spent busking between New Orleans and Seattle, she signed with Rounder Records in 2019. Her debut Long Time Coming (2021) earned Pitchfork’s acclaim, and its follow-up Trail of Flowers (2024) was a historic sweep — winning four Grammy Awards (Best Americana Album, Best Americana Performance, Best American Roots Song, and Best American Roots Performance) alongside Artist of the Year and Album of the Year at the 2024 Americana Honors & Awards. She’s collaborated with Zach Bryan, Post Malone, and Shakey Graves, and performed on Saturday Night Live with Mumford & Sons in 2026.
