Alternative country band from Raleigh, NC, formed in 2006 by frontman BJ Barham. Named after a Wilco song, they’ve spent nearly two decades building a reputation for gritty, progressive country-rock and Barham’s unflinching social commentary. Their 2012 album Burn.Flicker.Die, produced by Jason Isbell, was a breakthrough, and their 2020 album Lamentations earned widespread critical acclaim. Their newest record, The Fear of Standing Still, was recorded live at the legendary Sunset Sound in Los Angeles with producer Shooter Jennings and is their most anthemic and incisive work yet. They sold out their Ryman Auditorium debut in 2022.
