Country artist from Moorhead, MN, who grew up surrounded by music — his mother a choir teacher, his father a band director, and his family owning Jasper’s Theater in Park Rapids where he first fell in love with the guitar, fiddle, and the stage. He joined the Johnny Holm Band at 19 before moving to Nashville at 21, where he spent three years performing on Broadway and working at the Grand Ole Opry. He toured with Kellie Pickler, Diamond Rio, and others before returning to the Red River Valley to lead his own band. Dan Brekke brings Nashville chops and a homegrown Midwest spirit to every performance.
