49 Winchester is a six-piece country rock band from Castlewood, Virginia, named after the street address where lead singer and songwriter Isaac Gibson grew up. Formed right out of high school in 2013, the band built their following through relentless touring across Appalachia before breaking nationally with their 2022 New West Records debut Fortune Favors the Bold — which Rolling Stone called “country music’s buzziest of buzz bands.” They’ve since headlined the Ryman Auditorium, opened for Luke Combs at London’s O2 Arena, and earned a devoted following for their electrifying live shows. Their new album Change of Plans, produced by GRAMMY-winner Dave Cobb, is out May 15th.
