Drew and Ellie Holcomb

Drew Holcomb and Ellie Holcomb are a Nashville-based husband-and-wife Americana duo known for their heartfelt storytelling, harmonious vocals, and deep musical synergy. Drew, born May 13, 1982, in Memphis, Tennessee, began his career as a solo artist before forming Drew Holcomb and the Neighbors in 2005 with longtime friends Nathan Dugger, Rich Brinsfield, and Jon Radford. The band, named after the neighborhood where they lived, has released 12 albums, toured with major acts like Willie Nelson, The Avett Brothers, and Don Henley, and gained national recognition through TV placements and a viral 2014 Dick’s Sporting Goods commercial featuring his song “American Beauty.”

Ellie Holcomb, born September 12, 1982, in Nashville, is the daughter of music producer Brown Bannister. She met Drew while studying at the University of Tennessee, where she earned a BS in English (2005) and a master’s in secondary education (2006). After marrying Drew in 2006, she joined his band as a touring member. She stepped away from touring in 2012 after the birth of their first child, EmmyLou, and launched a successful solo career in Christian and folk music. Her debut album As Sure as the Sun (2014) earned her a GMA Dove Award for New Artist of the Year. Her follow-up, Red Sea Road (2017), was deeply personal, inspired by her father’s battle with cancer. She has since released Canyon (2021), written three children’s books, and earned four Dove Awards.

The couple’s first joint full-length album, Memory Bank, released January 24, 2025, marked a milestone in their 20-year journey together. The 13-song compilation reflects their shared life, love, and creative partnership, becoming the longest-charting release at Americana radio and the soundtrack to a sold-out North American tour. They continue to tour together, blending original songs, personal narratives, and intimate performances that celebrate family, home, and connection.
