Fitz & The Tantrums

Indie pop/neo-soul band from Los Angeles, formed in 2008 after frontman Michael Fitzpatrick bought a $50 church organ and wrote a song that same night. Members include Fitzpatrick, co-vocalist Noelle Scaggs, saxophonist James King, bassist Joseph Karnes, and keyboardist Jeremy Ruzumna. Their debut Pickin’ Up the Pieces (2010) hit #1 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart, and singles “Out of My League” and “The Walker” both topped the Alternative Songs chart. “HandClap” (2016) became their defining crossover moment. Their latest album, Man on the Moon, is out now.
