AGE RESTRICTIONS
Bluestem Amphitheater is an all ages venue. Unless otherwise stated, all guests are required to have a ticket in order to be admitted into the venue, regardless of age. Car seats are not permitted unless a ticket is purchased for the child to place the car seat in a venue seat. Car seats cannot be held on a lap, placed on the ground, stairways, or walkways. Strollers are not permitted inside the amphitheater.

PHOTO, VIDEO, AND AUDIO RECORDING
Camera policies vary depending on each performance. In most cases, disposable and non-professional cameras including phones are permitted, while professional cameras with removable lenses and all audio/video recording equipment, including GoPros, will not be permitted. ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION / SMOKING
Alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase at the venue for adults 21 years of age and older with a valid ID. Sales of beer and other alcoholic beverages will be restricted to inside the Bluestem Amphitheater during select events. No outside alcohol is permitted.

Smoking is restricted to designated areas located outside of the amphitheater. Please be respectful of other guests and do not attempt to smoke inside the venue.

SAFETY & MEDICAL SERVICES
An EMT is stationed on-site at each show. In case of emergency, venue staff is also available to assist. Please look for those wearing Jade Presents or Trollwood shirts—we’re here to help!

All Tickets300 ticketed events at Bluestem can be purchased in the following ways:

  • Online at JadePresents.com or Tickets300.com
  • At the Tickets300 box office located at 302 N. University Drive in Fargo; open 10AM to 2PM Monday – Friday
  • By calling (701) 298-0071
  • In person at the Tickets300 Kiosk inside the Fargo Brewing Taproom (open 11AM – 10PM Monday-Thursday; 11AM – 11PM Friday-Saturday; 12PM(noon) – 8PM Sunday)

If you’ve selected Will Call as your ticket delivery option, you may pick up your tickets from the Vesta Realty Ticket house—near the entrance of Bluestem Amphitheater—beginning 60 minutes before gates open on the night of the show. You will need to present a valid ID to claim your tickets at Will Call. Please call Tickets300 at (701) 298-0071 with any questions.

Please note: Tickets are only issued to the person who purchased them; the name on the ID must match our records.

Gates and show times will vary for each event, but gates will typically open an hour or two prior to the show beginning. It is recommended to look at the listed times under a specific event and plan accordingly.

Reserved seat rows are ordered bottom to top alphabetically from A – X, and divided into Left, Center, and Right sections. Bluestem Amphitheater uses method of seating where the Left side of the stage contains all odd numbered seats and the Right side contains all even numbered seats. It is normal for a group sitting together in the same row to have all odd or all even numbered seats. If seated Center stage, seat numbers are in consecutive order. For reference, your seat number is located on the tag on the front of your seat and should match the number printed on your ticket.

Need help once you get to Bluestem? Volunteer ushers will be available inside the amphitheater at every show to escort you to your seat and answer any questions you may have!

Yes, ADA seating is available for guests with special needs. To reserve handicapped seating, please call the Tickets300 box office at (701) 298-0071 at your earliest convenience.

Limited parking is available at Bluestem Amphitheater on the grounds surrounding the amphitheater. We encourage all parties to carpool, take a shuttle (departing from select locations), or ride a bike whenever possible. Volunteer parking attendants will assist motorists upon entry.

Our partners, Legends Sports Bar and Murphy’s Pub are offering shuttle services to and from Bluestem from their locations. Please call them directly for more information on scheduling.

Bluestem Center for the Arts is a school property, therefore no alcohol is allowed in the parking areas or anywhere outside of the amphitheater. If you do choose to arrive early, please respect school property. Do your part in keeping Bluestem Center for the Arts beautiful!

ATMs are available on each side of the amphitheater near concessions. Food, beverage, and merchandise vendors at Bluestem typically accept cash only, so it is recommended to plan accordingly.

As weather can often be unpredictable, each event at Bluestem Amphitheater will go on rain or shine. Should inclement weather such as lightning or tornadic activity become a factor and pose a threat to the artists and patrons, announcements will be made from the stage with information pertinent to the situation. Please plan accordingly for forecasted rain. No umbrellas allowed.

The Red River Valley is known for its unpredictable weather, so we encourage guests to check local forecasts the day of the show and dress appropriately for all conditions. Please come prepared when forecasts include weather conditions such as strong winds, cold evening temperatures, and severe rain among others. Even on the nicest days, please also keep in mind the dangers of full exposure to the sun.

In most cases, re-entry into the venue is not allowed. In emergency medical situations, ticket takers may provide you with a wristband or stamp for re-admission, however the decision is ultimately up to the discretion of the Bluestem staff and will be handled on a case-by-case basis. Please be sure to double check that you’ve got everything you need before heading into the venue!
